Current Opportunities
Pen Pals
Correspond weekly with a Freedom City student. Helping students practice their writing skills while building positive connections, learning about career opportunities, and goal setting.
Volunteers write a letter to their assigned student and email it every Sunday night to Freedom City Staff. Students will respond by Friday.
Math Tutoring
Get paired with a Freedom City Student. In each session, you will start off with an ice-breaker game to get to know your students and, the remainder of the time you will engage in math activities, Math Facts, and IXL curriculum.

Reading Tutoring
Get paired with a Freedom City Student. In each session, you will start off with an ice-breaker game to get to know your students, and, for the remainder of the time you will engage in reading activities, read a book aloud, or work on improving the student's comprehension.

Freedom Girls
Join our girls after school as they learn how to use their voice and build confidence through art, dance, poetry and other self expression activities.
​
​Volunteers can join Freedom City staff to help conduct each session.
